The weather is getting warmer and the days are getting longer. All manner of work is to be done on the vegetables and fruit, including sowing salads, courgettes etc., propagation, planting out and general care. The grass is growing away well now, and we look forward to the haylage crop which will feed the horses and livestock at the farm.

The ewes are producing plenty of milk for their lambs, and we need to ensure the tup (ram) doesn't get too fat now he's on his holidays.

Sunshine our Shire horse is used to hoe the vegetables in awkward places, and to harrow small paddocks that the larger tractor is not suitable for.

We are really busy mowing the grass to keep the place tidy. As the weather improves more visitors come to the farm.
